I havn´t written anything on the blog for a long time and thats because I´ve been a little busy and also because I´m slowly getting better at frequent email updates...
This weekend was kind of sad - my little dog Cuauhtémoc, otherwise know as Chumba Wumba, Sasquwask,Cuaucuauzinho and others among many, has gone... poor little guy died last night so we are all sad about that because he was a real character and he will be missed alot. He wasn´t even a year old and its a real shame but I´m glad you are up there in doggy heaven dude, peeing wherever you want, eating out of the trash, chewing Havaiianas, chasing butterflies and having lots of fun sniffing around where you shouldn´t be.
Next week I am leaving Brazil and travelling for a short time to England before I go back to work in Mexico City. I hope that I can catch up with as many people in the UK as possible because it might be the last time that I´m there for a while. I really need to start packing and getting ready to go because I have not idea how much of my stuff I really want to take or if I will just leave most of it here.
The time has come up on me so quickly that I´m finding it hard to believe that I am really leaving soon and it dawned on me today that I most probably am not prepared for how emotional and hard this departure is going to be. I hate goodbyes but its not so sad when you know that you will be returning and that you are leaving for a good puropse so I am keeping that in the front of my mind and I am keeping positive and looking forward to what this next chapter in my life will bring.
The other news is that I am working on my blog which is a guide to Mexico City and a few friends are going to get involved with that very soon. Its quite exciting and I´ve been getting good feedback on what we already have and I´m in the process of writing up about the likes and dislikes of travellers to the city - so thanks to everyone that has contacted me with thier reviews and opinions, loves, hates and general rants about everything "DF".. it all really helps me alot.
